New health outpost on slopes of mouintains in Nepal 17.1.2007

International Humanity is pleased to announce the start of a new project within the Jhor Mahankal Health Centre that will serve as a mountain outpost of the International Humanity Diastyle Free Clinic located in the capital city Kathmandu. The health centre is providing free medical care and treatment to inhabitants of this and surrounding villages from 2 provinces with the total referral area of more than 30.000 people. Some of the villages are rather isolated in mountains and the nearest well equipped health post has been up to now very distant. On this occasion, free health-camp was organized in Jhor Mahankal Lower Secondary School for all inhabitants of the area. The staff provided by the International Humanity Free Clinic included medical doctors /general medicine, gyneacology, paediatric and ENT specialists/, nurses, health assistants and laboratory technicians with the presence of the chief Free Clinic doctor Dr. Ikcha Shrestha, and the International Humanity president Dr. Rasti Madar. The Health Camp was attended by more than 200 patients of different age and medical problems. All people of Nepal in need of medical care are cordially invited to attend the health centre or to visit the free clinic itself in Kathmandu. International Humanity Diastyle Free Clinic, run by the Slovak and Czech non-profit non-governmental organizations, provides free medical care to the people in need since October 2006 in the capital city of Nepal, KMC-29, Samakushi Marg, Galkophaka, Kathmandu.
