27.8.2006 A charitable barbeque, auction and sale of home made products took place in the Darlington area of the North East of England on 26th August 2006. Dr Rastislav Madar, President of International Humanity, gave illustrated presentations of the work being undertaken and gathered fundraisers were enthused by the ongoing success of the project for the Welikonda School area in Southern Sri Lanka. Money was raised also through a raffle, a tombola and a few entertaining games. Many prizes were won and a Bar B Q meal was shared by 45 people. At the end of the evening donations were given and £1,300 was raised for International Humanity UK to help continue the work for this community.
