12.8.2006 Following on from health education work earlier in the year, International Humanity UK has been pleased to be able to respond to a request from the Health Clinic in Sinda, Eastern Province, Zambia. Funds have been raised in the UK to buy vital surgical instruments and other necessary equipment. Medical supplies including over 1,000 surgical gloves were sent and of particular importance are electronic weighing scales for monitoring the development of children and simply being able to weigh adult patients - something that had not been possible before. International Humanity UK is particularly grateful for many additional healthcare items that were donated for Zambia from the company PHD Medical in England, UK.
